Postage rates for buyers

You can find out how much postage costs in the Postage section of every eBay listing. We always show the postage cost separately from the item cost so you can see exactly how much you'll pay for delivery before you go to checkout.

If the item you're interested in is located in another country, keep in mind that international postage can cost more. You'll find more information in our article on international postage.

Where to find the cost of postage

You can find the cost of postage, as well as the seller's delivery options - including any express delivery services or combined postage discounts - and whether tracking is available, on the listing. Select See details next to the postage cost at the top of the listing. Alternatively, scroll down and select the Postage and payments tab.

If you're buying multiple items from the same seller, you may be able to save on the postage costs if the seller offers combined postage.

Tip
When you're searching for an item, select the Free postage filter on the left-hand side of the search results page to see listings that don't charge for delivery. You can also search for items you can collect in person.

Increased postage rates after a purchase

Sellers can't increase their postage rates after you've bought an item without asking your permission to do so. If the seller makes a change that you don't agree with, and you can't resolve the issue directly with them, contact us and we'll step in to help.
